Tell someone they’re vital. Yep, it’s that simple, AND that difficult.
Nurturing relationships is hard work. It takes time. But you can get started right now by telling someone important to you just how much they matter.
Don’t know what to say? Got writer’s block? Don’t worry. Happens to me all the time.
If you’re not sure how to tell someone how much they mean to you, you can always show them. In fact, showing them is probably the best way to really get the point across.
You might surprise them with an unexpected gift, or do something as simple as taking a walk. Share your time, your presence, and your attention. There’s no better way to demonstrate to someone how much they really matter.
When you tell someone they’re vital, you’ve offered them the gift of knowing that they matter. And you’ve brought your own attention back to what truly motivates you and brings you joy.
